Court documents released in connection with the killing of two Bangladeshi students from the University of South Florida—Jamil Ahmed Limon and Nahida Sultana Brishti—have revealed deeply disturbing details. According to the investigation report, significant blood splatter and stains were found throughout Limon’s apartment, stretching from the bedroom to the kitchen.
Investigators also recovered Brishti’s pink iPhone case, along with Limon’s personal belongings and bloodstained clothing, from a trash compactor. One of the most alarming findings is that Limon’s roommate and primary suspect, Hisham Abughrebah, had reportedly searched on an AI chatbot, including ChatGPT, for ways to conceal a dead body days before the incident.
According to official records, both Limon and Brishti had been missing since the afternoon of April 16. The following day, their friend Omar Hossain reported the matter, prompting campus police at University of South Florida to launch an investigation.
CCTV footage showed Brishti last seen leaving the campus and walking north. Meanwhile, location data from Limon’s phone indicated that it was initially within the campus area before later being traced to locations near Courtney Campbell Causeway and Clearwater Beach.
Authorities also found that the movements of Abughrebah’s vehicle matched those same areas. Although he initially claimed that he had dropped Limon off at Clearwater Beach at Limon’s request, receipts for cleaning supplies recovered from the apartment and delivery records linked to his phone contradict that statement.
The mysterious deaths of these two students, who had been missing since April 16, 2026, have taken a new turn with the release of these court documents. Investigators believe that digital evidence and materials recovered from the apartment will play a crucial role in uncovering the truth behind the killings. The case remains under close investigation, as grief among Limon’s community is now accompanied by growing demands for justice.
